Userbus sends your Blackbaud data to Savvas to keep Savvas up to date. Userbus's sync can be run on demand any time of day from our convenient web portal.

Users Students and teachers. Unlike many other Userbus syncs, the Blackbaud Savvas sync doesn't sync non-teaching staff to Savvas by default

Synced Fields

Userbus sends Savvas the fields that Blackbaud includes in their OneRoster implementation.

Features

  • Proactive Monitoring: Userbus proactively monitors the sync to make sure your Blackbaud data continues being exported to Savvas.

  • Error Notifications: Error notifications are optionally sent to your email address.

  • Automatic Updates: Userbus updates the sync to ensure compatibility with Savvas's and Blackbaud's specifications.

Sync Times

The sync can run:

  • On demand at any time by logging in to Userbus's web portal and clicking the Run button. Changes are reflected in Active Directory immediately.
  • On a schedule that you can adjust in the web portal.

Settings

  • Custom Filename: The filename of the ZIP file that Userbus sends Savvas can be customized.

Customization Options

We can customize the sync for you in various ways:

  • Include other user types, such as users who only have the Coach role
  • Remap the field data we send according to your needs, pulling from custom fields or changing formatting
  • Additional customizations based on your specific requirements
