Clever is an integration platform for schools. Think of it as the hub of a bicycle wheel, with spokes going out to the apps your school uses, sending them your users and rosters.

Userbus's Blackbaud Clever sync sends your Blackbaud data to Clever, so that Clever can send it to other apps.

Doesn't Clever Have a Built-In Blackbaud Sync?

Clever does have a built-in Blackbaud sync, and it's free! Still, Userbus's sync offers a number of advantages.

Sync Times

The sync can run:

  • On demand at any time by logging in to Userbus's web portal and clicking the Run button. Clever typically processes the new data within a few minutes.
  • On a schedule that you can adjust in the web portal.

Monitoring, Maintenance, and Support

  • Userbus proactively monitors the sync to make sure your Blackbaud data continues being exported to Clever.
  • Error notifications are optionally sent to your email address.
  • Userbus updates the sync to ensure compatibility with Clever's and Blackbaud's specifications.

Settings

  • Optionally remap Blackbaud school levels to a single school level.

Customization

We can customize the sync for you in various ways. For example, you can include other user types, such as users who only have the Coach role. We can also remap the field data we send according to your needs, pulling from custom fields or changing formatting.
